La Belle Helene was created by Bertrand Duchaufour for Parfums MDCI. The fragrance was inspired by the classical dessert Poires Belle-Hellene a combination of poached pears paired with vanille ice-cream, chocolate sauce and candied violets!
The opening notes of La Belle Helene smells of Osmanthus with a further note of apricot. Its top notes includes tangerine, lime blossom and violet with rose essence, with middle notes of osmanthus, ylang-ylang, orris, hawthorn, Mirabelle plum and the drydown of myrrh, vetiver, patchouli, Virginia cedar, amber, oak moss, white musk, sandalwood and licorice wood.
